Clean and simple. No fuss. No frills.

TV did not work via interactive products such as Internet, Movies. I called down to reception on the night but the charge still appeared on my bill in the monring. I was in a hurry and was held up by the manager checking if it was ok to remove the charge. The charge was removed but added 20 mins to my check out.

Not the most stiking architecture but the rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable. There are not many channels, on the T.V., but Sky One & BBC News 24 are included, which provide sufficient information & entertainment." (97294373)

The room was very spacious & the hotel was conveniently located near the M1. Sky One is included on the T.V.

There wasn't enough complimentary tea & coffee sachets.

"Plus points for the hotel are its closeness to the M1 and the midlands. Great staff, good car park. On the down side cold, old fashioned rooms let the hotel down. No sports channel either in the bar or your room tv." (99981092)

The location of the hotel is excellent. The check in was also very profesonal and friendly.

The decor of the room was very old fashioned and it was freezing even with the heating on full. Also quite alot of noise.

It was clean and tidy, had tea and coffee facilities, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and toilet separate from bathroom, which I thought was a good idea.

Bed was very close to the wall - not much room for the person on that side to get out! Basin was a little 'tired' looking.

"The hotel was nice, staff were pleasant, and the food was great. Bit expensive to eat in the restuarant, but the bar food was very nice. It suited our needs but would have been nice to have more play area for younger children." (3305287748)

The price- the room was value for money and the breakfast included was lovely. My eldest son used the pool table quite a bit, shame the weather was not nice for my youngest child to use the play area outside. The food was great.

Theplay area inside could have been better, it was a table with bricks. The outdoor play area looked nice but the weather was unsuitable.

The location from motorway is good. The staff are always friendly there and the food exceptional!

The room...we regularly seem to be put on the lower ground which has a disappointing air to it. It feels stuffy, the beds are smaller than the first floor and a little dated! The lift is questionable.

"great, friendly, quiet place, excellent breakfast. too bad every city in England doesn't have a place like this." (99980519)

Room was well designed, a second door blocked noise from the hall.

Nothing, I would have given it all excellent rather than good but honestly some things were slightly run down. But it didn't really bother me. It was a little more than I like to pay for the room given there was no breakfast included, but the breakfast on its own was good value.

    Comfortable room and bed.

This was an honest mistake which was corrected without question but I could easily have overlooked the errors." (99076359)

Quiet, clean and spacious room. Restuarant very good.

Minor niggles - Room decor a little tired, the shaver point was temperamental. Internet connection also poor - sending an email from my laptop was painfully slow with frequent interruptions to the service.

The hotel food was extremely well presented and of good quality, although I was a little bit suprised at the price, which I felt was a little high for a Nottingham venue. Overall I would recommend the Novatel Nottingham hotel." (3305304246)

Very comfortable bed and excellent food.

Sink was cracked in the bathroom (damaged, but clean), but all other parts of the hotel room were well appointed and clean.
