"Hotel was brilliant, but LLandudno as a whole was not" (99172436)

The bathroom was immaculate! As was the bed linen, breakfast was lovely, and the owners were really nice and chatty and even tried to get us another night in a nearby hotel when they couldnt give us a room.

"The couple who ran this guesthouse were very friendly and helpful. They let us keep our luggage in the house after we had checked out in the morning so that we wouldn't have to lug it all over town while we shopped before catching the train." (97625483)

The room was comfortable and clean. The wind was howling outside, but it was nice and warm inside. The breakfasts were very tasty.

The bed was not the most comfortable, but we were able to make it much more comfortable by laying the heavy comforter down and sleeping on top of it and just using the sheet and other blanket to cover up with.

friendliness of the staff also very helpful.modern decorative room and nice lounge area where you could talk and have a drink with fellow guests.

  • 10/10 Peter ( Mature couple)

from Glossop , GB  on  June 7, 2007

"Slightly concerned initially about the 6+2 car-parking. But even on the Saturday night, with a 'full-house', there was room for everyone. Also the manager always seemed to be around to resolve any parking problems, should they occur. Ideally situated you're literally a few minutes away from both shores, Haulfre Gardens and Happy Valley, and the busy shopping centre around Mostyn Street. Plus there's an excellent large pub just around the corner (replacing the old Palladium Cinema/Theatre)." (99446265)

Everything - very comfortable 4-poster bed, easy to use shower, good view of distant Snowdonia, superbly cooked food, good service, and extremely caring hosts.

    Spotlessly clean and comfortable

Too hot but this in an individual preference rather than a reflection on the actual accommodation

It's not a fancy place, but the thoughtful treatment by my hosts made it an excellent place to stay, even if one is not on a budget." (97267143)

  • 9/10 John ( Mature couple)

from Swadlincote , GB  on  July 4, 2007

"We had stayed at the Senarth previously and been very happy with the standard of accommodation, cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and we will certainly stay there again!" (99465584)

The hotel is ideally situated for Llandudno pier, beach, shops, restaurants, Great Orme (walking, tramway etc.) Parking on the front of the hotel is a tremendous advantage in high season. (It's a little cramped, but this doesn't matter as the hotel management are excellent organisers.)

Two very minor points - nowhere to hang coats in the room except the wardrobe, (which might already be full.) No shelf in the bathroom for toiletries etc. However, the hotel management are so co-operative we confidently expect things will be perfect on our next visit!

"This is a very clean , well run hotel and we very much enjoyed our short stay . The staff had good local knowledge and could recommend good local pubs , resturants , etc. It was only a very short walk to the sea front , but far enough away so as to be in a quiet street. we would certainly stay at this Hotel again." (99651811)

Very clean , very friendly staff without being intrusive. Good breakfast . Quiet area , but close to the sea front. , well organised. Good local

Although off street parking , was a very small car park . was not a problem to us , but you could get 'boxed' in.

Also didn't realise we could change our original breakfast order daily. The family were very helpful and friendly--the website said they would welcome us to their hotel , which was what made me choose it , and they did." (99952993)

The friendliness of the owners and nothing was too much trouble. Everything Very clean .Good information pack about the area in room.

no bath and single beds rather narrow

"A small hotel in a super back street location on the flat, you don't need a car if you stay in Llandudno. Parking may be a problem at busy times, as the surrounding roads get busy with parked cars. Some may consider the room we had as being a bit small but it did not worry us. For a short stay it was excellent. There are plenty of good cafes and pubs in walking distance and good walks around the Great Orme." (3305316162)

Good location, some off street parking, good breakfast.

  • 8/10 Anthony ( Young couple)

    from Leeds , United Kingdom;GB  on  October 28, 2006

"The owners were lovely, very friendly and professional. We didn't feel obliged to do anything whilst staying there and we were made to feel very welcome and felt very much at home. All in all a very pleasant stay and a charming place to go for a relaxing weekend break. I think most of the reviews do the talking, but the stay speaks louder." (3305291484)

We were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The breakfast was just right for us both in the morning, the right amount, the right time and the staff were very hospitable to needs at breakfast time. Comfy four poster bed, perfect for a relaxing weekend away.

The amount of stairs going up to the top room took some getting used to, but we knew about this before booking and it was not a huge problem.

(99123884)

nice clean hotel easy access to all amenities and within walking distance to main town centre

"A very nice, quite little B&B very close to middle of town. Shame the room was so small, though." (107758426)

Owners very helpful and friendly. Room very clean & neat.

Asked to hand over car keys on arrival in case we block someone in! (we wouldn't have gone out leaving our car blocking someone anyway). Handing our keys over would invalidate our insurance. Freeview box remote wouldn't work even after swapping batteries. Room very small - should be a single room not a twin.

"The area and location were spot on close to the town center. minor issues easy to correct." (107261018)

Welcoming friendly staff, good breakfast and close to Town center.

No water pressure to shower. Bed linen smelt damp and unpleasant. Room not serviced properly, bins not emptied daily and had to ask for toilet rolls. Parking was limited and the owner requested your car keys on arrival to move vehicles. most guests disagreed and didn't cooperate.

It was exactly what we expected. Good breakfast

    Lack of lounge area.
