"Comfortable overall,in a good location close to the beach & the main town. Convenient to local transport services as I did not travel by car." (97426799)
Excellent service at breakfast & overall attention by staff. Very good room cleaning daily, with a clean bath towel every day & replacement of tea, coffee, milk etc. A nice roomy lounge bar to mix with other guests at night.
Nothing really bad as such, but the decor & carpets had a rather 'tired' look & had obviously been 'in situ' a long time.

"The hotel provided the basic requirements for one night away." (107847959)
The manager was pleasant and generally helpful. A breakfast compromise was achieved with cereal being left out the night before which we were able to help ourselves to.
The listing stated private car parking available. This was mis-leading as there was only space for one vehicle. One of the main reasons for choosing the hotel was that it had private car parking facilities allegedly. Breakfast was not available before 8am and we needed to leave by 7.30am. There was no discount for not having breakfast.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way.
The room was very basic and we did not have a very nice view from our window.

"I was happy with my stay, I had sufficient information prior to booking and was satisfied with that knowledge. Since I was visiting a local event the location of the hotel could not have been better suited to me. I was happy with the food and service although I would suggest a larger choice of cereals for breakfast. I found the bedroom clean and tidy with beautiful white bed linen. It was small but adequate and it lacked a view." (97502630)
It's convenient location, service and food.

"The rooms could do with some refurbishment but ours was clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. The breakfast was fine and it was hot. I am disabled and found getting in and out of the shower quite difficult as the shower base is quite high and there was nothing to hold onto." (97592875)
The sea view and having our own amenities. Easy access to room via lift. locality to promenade.

"Web advert shows a bar this was not open during our 2 night stay. Breakfast was terrible, we only had it on the first morning then checked out early on the second and had breakfast at another hotel. Although hotel and room was clean in is in urgent need of a total refurb.Other people staying said same re bar, breakfast and decor. The price charged was fair although we would have rathered paid a little more for a hotel which provided good home cooking and a bar which is open in the evenings in nice surroundings and will be dong that in future." (97883412)
Room very basic but clean
Advert shows bar - NOT OPEN, Breakfast horrid only had it the first night didnt bother the second, Hotel in need of vast cash injection to improve decor which is in need of updating urgently

"There seemed to be a lot of staff, but think we were the only guests. At a quiet time like this it would be a good time to repair the curtains. Sand down the paint work and re-decorate and thoroughly clean." (97402865)
Location
Room to hot. Unable to turn heating down. Had window open all the time. En-suite had an unpleasant smell. Could have been from something stuck on the wall near the rubbish bin. Curtains needed repair. Furniture was cheap. High ceilings meant that cobwebs were missed. Cheap sausages used. Toast was cold.

Central location
the shower only had haif a door the other door was against a wall it being a corner opening shower and the wardrobe stopped the room door from fully opening. The reception smelled of old cooking was cluttered and not clean a vacume cleaner is permanantly encamped by the phone in reception, an obvious hazzard, the outside of the hotel is a disgrace and not supringly the only hotel with vacancy's on the whole row
