"We throughly enjoyed the stay. We found it quite hard to choose an hotel to stay at and was very pleased with what we got...obviously we don't know what the other rooms are like. We would definately return" (97285544)

The Rose Tor Hotel was excellent and they made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely big family room with a 4 poster bed and a single bed. The bathroom was also very lovely. The hotel owners were very welcoming especially with having a 3 year old with us they were very accomodating. We were well looked after. The carvery was outstanding and well worth the money.

"Very disappointed! Had to climb 55 stairs to our room! Room was clean but in great need of repair. Kids found it very gloomy. The breakfast was very nice and plentiful, and the service was fine. Parking was a REAL problem. On Fri. and Sat. nights we had to park several streets away. Overall- we felt it was not a very good value." (3304794636)

Good location for town activities and the beachfront. Good food.

Badly rundown! Hot water tap was broken, as was the main door lock.

"This hotel is a brilliant place to stay. Llandudno itself is the perfect place to get away for lots of laughs the hotel's comfort and the friendliness of the staff all combined to provide me and my friends with a holiday we will never forget. We were overwhelmed by the kindness and the generosity of the staff at Rose-Tor and I certainly would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to any. It really was brilliant." (3304413961)

The Rose-Tor hotel was one of the prettiest hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms were perfect and overall the hotel was exactly what we were looking for.

"The stay was adequate and generally good value for the money. The dining room staff and check out process was done in a friendly manner." (3304460048)

The restaurant - it had obviously been renovated and was of a high standard.

The reception and stairs were dowdy and did not give a good general first impression for the hotel. The bedroom was clean, adequate and the bed comfortable, but the room lacked a hairdryer which n this age is a definite pre-requisite.

The restaurant is well run Having stayed before, we noticed that on the last visit, housekeeping was a little slack. We would certainly stay again and the hotel, being centrally located is good value for money, although the rooms are a little small. Some updating could make a big difference" (3304132846)

    Centrally located, good breakfast

Housekeeping is pretty slack. A close watch needs to be kept on things like taps not working and bulbs out

"It was nice enough, but could be improved." (3304063431)

    Good location.

Bed was very uncomfortable. There were very few people staying at the hotel when we were there, yet we had to ask for soap and toilet paper. Also, we had to walk up a couple of landings to our room (#15). Although it was nice to have a view of the bay, we also heard all the noise of the partygoers from across the street.

    Warm, clean, central

Serve breakfast on pre-warmed plates! Despite asking for non smoking room, the presence of an ash tray and persistent lingering smell of some sort of air freshener to hide smoke odour spoilt an otherwise plesant stay.

"A good standard was evident and it was worthy of its two star status. Parking was a problem especially on arrival when no space was available and we had a considerable distance to walk with our cases. We were situated on the top floor which necessitated a number of stairs and we appreciated the welcome tray in the room but were surprised to note that if you ran out of sugar, milk etc, further supplies had to be purchased from reception or the shop over the road!! All in all it was a pleasant stay." (2700590)

A well decorated room and very clean. The evening meal was excellent and the staff all very friendly.

A lift would be helpful but perhaps impracticable in view of space

"Having recently had a leg injury I found it quite difficult getting to and from my room, more so with the luggage. I certainly would recommend the hotel on price alone, but not to people stair cimbing difficulties." (2734076)

Easier access to get to rooms.

"The welcome was warm and efficient, the dining room was large and airy and very well laid out with smiling efficient and friendly staff. Good menu choice for breakfast However the room was a little small for two on business. Parking was relatively easy on the road outside. There were plenty of Public areas" (2782878)

First floor front facing room, although a little small

I had occasion to make a private telephone call and left the room to go to one of the lounges. There were no lights on and only the street lighting outside lit the lounges, For safety alone some lights should be left on in public areas and passageways

"It was a nice hotel in a central position to shops, restaurants and the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, because the hotel is situated on a main road and didn't have a car park, it was a question of luck whether or not a parking space could be found close to the hotel. It would be helpful to mention this fact on your website. Otherwise I have no complaints." (2666245)

It offered simple comfort and all the facilities necessary for hotel accommodation, such as tea/coffee, hairdryer etc.

Could have clearer directions to bedrooms, restaurant etc.

Hotel in very convenient position and although there was not a hotel car park, on street parking was no problem.
