"Staying at this hotel was very pleasant and the only downside is the lack of parking near to hotel, but, after 5pm you can park outside. This applies to all the hotels on this road though and is no fault of this hotel." (97318562)

Good Location, clean hotel and room, hearty breakfast

    Nothing the accommodation was fine.

"This was the first time in a long time that we have stayed in a British Hotel, and we have more recently been used to the lavish hospitality of the American and Canadian large hotels. Inevitably our expectations may have been too high for the size and type of hotel that The Chelsea is. We did not like having to pay for accommodation up front, before we had even seen the rooms. It feels more comfortable to be asked to pay at the end of your stay when the quality of service etc has been experienced, though I understand why smaller hotels feel the need to have your cash securely in their account before delivering the services." (99198464)

Friendly family hotel close to the sea front and town but in a relatively quiet area, so that we were not disturbed by late night revellers etc. Pleasant rooms with good views. Super breakfasts!

The mattress on our bed was very uncomfortable, hard and lumpy, and very noisy when either of us turned over, so we both felt stiff and achy each morning. We would prefer larger bath towels than those supplied, and it was difficult to get the towels dry overnight as there was limited towel hanging space, so we tended to put them in for wash daily after the first day/night (which is unfortunately not very environmentally friendly).

"A nice break - would go back." (107281111)

Good location near to restaurants, shops and attractions. Nice large room with plenty of storage. Ezcellent advice from owners re things to do and where to eat

Steps up to the hotel and no lifts make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. More of a B+B than a hotel as no bar, but owners happy to supply glasses and corkscrew.

"Before making the booking we would have properly liked to have known more about Llandudno itself, if we had known more about what things were there we properly would have booked more than one night. We should have done more searching for information about things to do in Llandudno." (97980083)

Everything, Becky and Jean were lovely gave us lots of information about Llandudno. The breakfast suited all tastes and diets with plenty of choices. We stayed in a room which had a four posted bed, it was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed for our visit.

Nothing at all but we wished we had booked two nights instead of one!!!

The hotel only serves breakfast which has pleanty of choice but there are some excellent restaurants within 2 minutes walk .Access to the Hotel is via some steps, the hotel has lot's of history altough some visual aspects have been taken out by the previous owner but it is still has old world charm ans is very comfortable. The lady who we was managing for most of our stay was delightful she also has lot's of local info so don't be afraid to ask." (99356364)

Price was a little steep, considering the number of other guesthouses in the area. However I would definately recommend it to other travellers." (97237236)

The guesthouse is very quiet, very well ,maintained and we were made very welcome right from the start

No biscuits supplied with the tea and coffee facilities. Access is awkward, up steep steps but we knew that before we arrived. Parking was very tight.

The catering was excellent and nothing was to much trouble , we did'nt need anything else to eat until teatime The negative was lack of parking spaces and the confined steps leading up to the hotel. Not a hotel for people with walking problems., but on the whole we had a really pleasent stay" (99365513)

Well placed for all amenaties, clean, welcolming. Excellant breakfast in a beautiful dining room. There was also a conservatory to enjoy

Room 4 it was tiny, the bed was uncomfortable and creaked when you turned over in bed, would'nt like to stay in that room more than 1 Night., but it was the only room available when we booked.

Not alot to dis like, the onlt down side is that you have to park on the street, only on one side which was always busy so car was parked out of eye sight.

"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, our first as a family. Our room was more than we expected with an amazing view. The service, from booking through to departing was first rate and the hotel is run by a very welcoming and friendly family. We felt like nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast is worth waiting for, our only criticism is the time it is served and that is only because we had a child with us. Once you get parked outside you really don't need to use the car again for the local area as everywhere is within a short walk from the hotel, this is a definite bonus. We are looking forward to returning again soon and would recommend The Chelsea to everyone." (3305202654)
