    "Booking a hotel on a budget for a large group of people was a risk as you never quite know what you'll get, however the quality was extremely good value for money especially as the hotel appeared to be recently referbished. The hotel staff were also very helpfull in booking taxis, restaurants etc." (3305026712)

    "We actually stayed at another Petit Place around the corner as ther was work going on, on the floor we had booked our room. The staff were very helpful especially as we had just fallen fowl of Madrid lighter finger population and arrived sans one bag. They pointed us in the dorection of the nearest police station and helped with a free map of madrid, the free internet was also a bonus." (3305262679)

    "Noise could be easily heard from other rooms, and from people walking & talking in the passageway. Check-in was very difficult due to the poor english skills of front desk staff. The lack of english skills of staff in general made any requests extremely difficult. As a non-spanish speaking, first-time visitor to Spain, this made my stay very difficult as I had many queries which were unable to be answered. Maps of the city were not made available to us, unlike our friends who were staying in an adjacent hotel, and who had very helpful english speaking front desk staff. The room was also very small, and did not allow for access to 2 suitcases in a double room." (3304372139)

    "we were unable to get ice for drinks in our room everyday, so i should have checked to see if there was a bar in the hotel. otherwise we loved the location. the desk staff were very friendly and most helpful." (3304512325)

    "Good central location, although taxi driver & several of his colleagues had difficulty finding the hotel! Quite noisy in the evenings, but expected this with central location.     THe hotel has a perfect location, short walking distance to the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and The Prado museum, shopping area, restaurants and bars.

    We booked 2 tw bed and one family room. according to the booking information the triple would be adec. for the adults. We were sorry to find the room at the exactly the same size as the tw. beds! We spend 3 cramed nights in the triple. The reception staff was of no help when we asked about it.

    "el hotel esta estrategicamente situado en el centro de Madrid,todo coge cerca,casi sin necesidad de transporte, eso es lo mejor. Nos dieron una habitacion interior, que nos gusto menos y cuyas instalaciones podrian mejorarse, como un mando de television con pilas, y arreglar las cosillas que se van deteriorando poco a poco.     "El hotel está muy bien situado, en concreto, desde la habitación se veía la Puerta del Sol. Está bastante bien insonorizado y muy cercano al metro. Las habitaciones tienen ducha hidromasaje, donde cada dia se cambian las toallas y el jabón. Además algunas de ellas tienen balcón (las que dan al exterior) y ordenador - ADSL. Las camas son cómodas y hay prensa diaria gratuita. Las instalaciones son muy correctas, y hay la posibilidad de desayuno tipo buffet (aunque un poco caro, sobre 12 € por persona). En general, un buen hotel muy muy céntrico en la Puerta del Sol, a 10 min. andando de Cibeles o Plaza Mayor, y a 15 min. del Retiro, de Chueca y del Palacio Real." (2231149)
